Visual Exhibition - Call for entries DETOUR
The concept behind Detour is artists creating an alternative path of our own choosing. This path leads us into a realm of expression and progression that many on the mainstream path tend to miss on our journeys.
The type of work we are looking for is that of mutual exclusivity, profoundness, patterned advances, and unbelievable collaboration. In layman's terms... highly unique and quality stuff.
We will keep you informed of the deadlines for the fine art, spoken word, performance art, and music entries very soon. Please stay tuned.
People of all colors, races, gender preferences, nationalities, and socio-economic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Entries may originate in any format listed below; however, *Entries must be submitted in DVD or VHS. All must be in NTSC format. All videos must be labeled with title, producers name, category and total running time.

I understand when I fill out this entry form and thereby enter this media entry in DETOUR that I indemnify, release, and hold harmless DETOUR, its managers, employees, interns, sponsors, co-sponsors, individual and institutional supporters and the hosting space from any liability related to the use of my entry. I further understand that by submitting my entry to DETOUR, I indemnify, release and hold harmless DETOUR of any responsibility and liability, for any or all damages or losses that may occur to my entry. I am the person responsible and give my express permission to DETOUR to exhibit my entry at events which include but are not limited to jurying, previews exhibitions, and electronic on-line transmissions, streaming of my entry. The entrant further agrees that all rights and permissions for any materials contained within the said entry, including all music rights, have been granted and the entrant holds harmless DETOUR from any or all disputes or claims that may arise from these rights and permissions granted. I give my permission to exhibit my entry at the festival screenings of the winning entries and authorize DETOUR to retain my entry and allow DETOUR to include my entry for any or all promotions, screenings and exhibitions of DETOUR, in perpetuity and further grant the right and permission to use any part of my entry to promote subsequent DETOUR events.
